Lizst
Hungarian Rhapsody #2 just came up on iTunes. WTF? I'm pretty sure that Lizst either sold his soul, or he had like, six or seven arms. I can play a little, and that song is ridiculous. It's so obscenely complicated that it's almost distracting. I'm trying to listen to the music and all I keep thinking is "how the fuck do you even play that with only two hands?"

Lizst can be mind-boggling. Writing as a former pianist, you'd deconstruct it, learn each hand, each line, very, very slowly first. Then you'd put the hands together, very, very slowly. Then you work on speeding it up gradually, allowing your fingers to get so used to the fingering that it becomes natural..... That's how you play it with 2 hands.... I'm Elizabeth's friend, Cinda.
