Things like this are the reason it's probably best that I didn't make any money until after I got married.

    well, I must admit the description was far more amusing. I don't think I could persuade Peter to increase the 'home media system' to more than our 21" TV.

    Although, I did pony up and buy a DVD player that was 'modifiable" to be region free. The boys can now watch the German videos:
    Monsters AG,
    Findet Nemo, and soon
    "Dschungle Buch".
    At $42, it pretty much sucks, as far as user-friendly features. But, until I'm out of school and we have less drain on our budget, I'll deal with the extra few minutes dealing with it.

    Of course, the list of "once I'm done with school" seems to be getting longer and longer...
